designed juno, an integrated DNA sequencing & library preparation platform.
lead the full mechanical design cycle: from CAD, DFM, and prototyping, including:
> The cartridge docking area with alignment geometry
> The LCD panel housing and front bezel
> interlocking internal plates to support PCBs, displays, and subsystem modules
design ensures everything fits in a compact frame that withstands rugged special forces use.
> This portable sequencing workstation served as an early prototype for Juno.
> used to test enclosure concepts, component integration, and power/interface management with the oxford nanopore MinION device.
